We need your help on this one, Brothers and Sisters!

Please join us in today’s National “No Vote on NAFTA 2.0 Until It’s Fixed” Call-In Day. We are urging you to call 1-855-973-4213 to leave a message for your member of Congress to promise not to support the Trump administration’s revised NAFTA trade deal unless it addresses some much-needed improvements on labor protections.

The Trump administration is pressing for Congress to ratify its renegotiated North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The proposal, however, stops short of some much-needed improvements to labor standard and enforcement provisions to thwart job losses.

The existing NAFTA deal was signed in 1994. Corporations have used the trade pact to outsource hundreds of thousands of jobs to Mexico to pay workers less and without protections such as abilities to join a labor union.

Today, people nationwide are flooding Congress with calls demanding “No vote on NAFTA 2.0 until it’s fixed!”

Join labor unions, health advocates, environmental groups, faith organizations and many more in the progressive movement to demand Congress not hold any vote on NAFTA 2.0 until its Big Pharma provisions are removed and its labor and environmental standards are improved.

If we all take action together, today, by calling our representatives in their local offices we could create real momentum to ensure Congress stands up to the powerful special interests and refuses to vote on the deal unless and until Trump fixes it.

That means removing provisions such as Big Pharma giveaways and adding swift and certain enforcement of improved labor and environmental standards.
