The IAM Human Rights Department has taken on its own identity within the IAM, with the sole purpose of advancing equality and justice.
This February, the IAM Human Rights Department is featuring accomplished IAM members of the Black community in celebration of Black History Month.
IAM members being honored for Black History Month are among the many trailblazers in our union.
Olu Ajetomobi

Olu Ajetomobi began his airline career at United Airlines. He has served our union in many capacities such as Shop Steward, Auditor, Ramp Committeeperson, Vice President and currently an Assistant General Chairperson for District 142 and 141 to name a few. For many years, Ajetomobi has been advocating for the rights of our members. Determined to make a difference, Ajetomobi has proven to be a leader and a strong advocate when upholding our IAM contract at United Airlines.
